Full job description: Educational Travel Sales Agent


As an Educational Travel Sales Agent, your primary mission is to engage with travel consultants, educators, teachers, and school administrators to promote and successfully sell educational travel packages. These packages may include field trips, immersion travel programs, and study abroad experiences aimed at enhancing students' learning and cultural understanding.

1. Build and Maintain Relationships:
- Cultivate strong relationships with travel consultants, teachers, and school administrators.
- Establish rapport, trust, and credibility to become their go-to resource for educational travel.
2. Product Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the educational travel packages offered.
- Stay updated on destination information, program details, and curriculum relevance.
3. Consultation and Customization:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific educational objectives and travel needs.
- Customize travel itineraries to align with the educational goals of each group or institution.
4. Presentation and Communication:
- Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Communicate the educational and cultural benefits of the travel programs effectively.
5. Sales Strategy:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the educational travel sector.
6. Coordination and Logistics:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of travel programs.
- Oversee logistics, including accommodations, transportation, activities, and safety measures.
7. Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and educational standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all client interactions and transactions.
8. Travel Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about current trends and innovations in educational travel and the broader travel industry.

In-person

  • Sales
  • Excellent communication skills
    Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated writing ability. Ability to advise and provide solutions to problems faced by a diverse student population.
  • Highly flexible and collaborative working extensively with other teams
  • Familiarity with destination-specific educational opportunities is a plus
  • Knowledge of educational institutions and their travel requirements
  • High School Admissions Representative experience in proprietary school is highly preferred
